Another de-badging

I did it to the Audi and liked the clean look so I took the letters and numbers off the G37X this morning. Seems to be no marks or marring from doing it.

Then got a coat of Meg #16 on top of FK1000P.

You use a heat gun/blow dryer and some dental floss?

Was thinking of de-badging my Accord but not even sure i want to leave the honda emblem there or not LoL.

Just would look cleaner without anything on there.

i always liked the no badge clean look and not to mention you don't have to worry about cleaning around the areas where it was...

Dental floss and hair dryer at -2 degrees celcius. And it was a pain to try to clean and polish around the letters and numbers.

well you just inspired me LoL. I'm going to go and de-badge my car hopefully today. I don't find a need for it to say Accord or V6 as i already know what it is LoL.

BAKER- Yeah, that looks good :xyxthumbs And I sure hear you about not polishing around them!

Taking off *all* the emblems can be tricky...sometimes it just doesn't look right. I did that on the Yukon XLD and the S8, but I left the central/marque emblem on the MPV and the A8. Gotta watch you don't end up with what looks like an acre of unadorned paint...the S8 vs. A8 is a tough call, though I like it better with nothing there, at least on the lower car.

well some cars also . . . . . . especially honda's have the center emblem not only stuck on with the adhesive they use but it's also held on with something else too. I know behind the H emblem are two holes in which are used to hold it on . . . . . so i would need to fill the holes and prob. have it painted which would suck.

Yeah, I had to have some holes welded up on the MPV, but an elderly lady in a Cadillac made a new hatch a necessity anyhow :o I thoughta about having them do the "flying-M" badge's holes too, but it looks better with it on there.
