Got my package today!!! Feel kinda excited. Thought I would share. I never wanted to try Klasse, but hearing all the positive comments about it I decided to take the plunge.

I must give my big props to CMA! Apparently I didn't do my homework when ordering (I rushed with the order during my working hours) and ordered each product separately. Fortunatelly CMA automatically changed it to the Klasse Concours Kit. Not only did that save me a few dollars, I also got 2 extra MF Applicator that came with the kit. These are my first MF applicators. Feels so soft and gentle! CMA Service :up

I'm already very used to applying Zaino & BF by foam pad, so I don't think I'll use the MF and stick to my good'ol technique with the foam.

Should have left Souveran out of the picture. I actually had that for a while before Klasse, and I just had a change of plan and decided not to use carnauba topper. This thing is 16oz, so I hate to only use maybe 4-5oz of SG and putting something less durable on the top. And also make my Sonus QD useless. I understand carnauba topper might improve the look but I would go with "pure SG shine" for now.

I've converted 1 of car in my family to Zaino, 2 to Black Fire. There are 2 more "untreated" cars, and I guess that's where Klasse is going. :D Can't wait to try it!!!

Man, life before Autopia - Zaino & 5 100% cotton towles. Life after Autopia - Zaino/BF/Klasse/Souveran & 20 Yosteve Towels + 20 Neatitems Towels & a dent in my saving's A/C.

If you haven't already tried it, you should really like the Sonus QD Spray, it's an excellent compliment to the Klasse SG.:up

I only wish that it didn't cost $15.00 per bottle, as I'd really like to use it all the time on my daily driver, but it would just to be too much $$ for that application. Great stuff, though.

Enjoy your goodies, and post some photos if you can. :xyxthumbs

Use the two MF towel method to remove SG. Damp MF towel to wipe off SG when it dries, the second to touch up on what is left over. Fast and easy. :) Saves time. :) Congrat. on your purchase. :)

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to try to remove SG with dry MF first and if that doesn't work well then I'll use the damp MF trick. Thanks. :)

Lol, good luck. Try it on a dark car with a dry MF and you will quickly see that only a portion of it comes off. Use the damp MF and save yourself some time, infact it will be just enough time to make coat 31 of zaino on the Benz :xyxthumbs .

William, recently used a Koala to remove SG last time. I liked it better than the dry/wet MF I had used previously. Toss that in your bag of tricks.

Alboston - Won't be using it on black car for a while (because I would either have to strip Zaino off my car or BF from my bro's car). I might strip BF off my bro's car and replace it with Klasse in a month or two. The 2 candidates in line for Klasse treatment are Gray (Seal Gray) and Red. I was going try Klasse on the gray car tonight, but ran out of time.

Oh yah, coat#31 tonight done! :D Actually have enough leftover to do another 1/2 coat but feel lazy and ended up throwing them away.

Likecars - Cool. I do have 2 Koala towels laying around never been used (came with the 2 BF kits I orderd a while back). Will keep that in mind as well. Thanks! :up

Hey guys, have another one for ya. This one completed today (6/27/11) and I was excited to post it up. Decided to shoot a short vid of driving the car since its one of the questions I get asked frequently.

This beast got a slightly different treatment than the red one. Instead of Blackfire Wet Diamond for the LSP on this one, it was decided it needed some very light correction, so I picked Meguiars D301 on the PCXP for correction and LSP. It goes fast and smooth and comes off easy and leaves a super slick finish. It also removed the haze and buffer trails from the carbon fiber pieces. Those roofs and ground effects are polished at the factory before shipping to GM and typically look pretty poor. Well the D301 cleaned it up nicely. While it didn't remove 100% of the swirls (expected), it did remove the haze/fogginess/buffer trails from it and left a great glossy finish.

Anyway here are the pics and the video at the end!

After rinsing it off (the water coming off with just the hose was BROWN!). It was still VERY dirty.

Still had the shipping plastic films on it. I love getting them this way for 2 reasons. 1) I feel like I'm unwrapping a present. 2) Means no one has messed with the car yet! Makes me happy!

Oh...how I'd love to be the one to "Get to know" this car! Someone with bigger pockets will get that privilege though!

Dirty ZR1 needs a bath, so it gets a Optimum No Rinse wash. Love this stuff!

Better! Washed and clayed.

Here you can see there are still swirls in the carbon fiber clear coat. Since this car was not scheduled for a full correction, there would still be some remaining. However, it no longer has the foggy/dull look that they come with from the factory, it has substantially more gloss now.

Here is the video of a short drive. If you listen carefully you can hear the blower whine.

Thanks for looking!

Nice work, Jeff. It's good to finally see a Corvette interior that's not at least 20 years behind the times!

Great job again Jeff. You have been busy with the ZR1's lately.
I would also like to see the blue stitching to match the calipers. Sweeeeeet.:drool5:
