First of all, it was suppose to rain all day but it didn't until noon so I went ahead anyway.
Wash (dish washing)
Mother's clay (2.5 hours)
Wash (Hi Temp car wash shampoo)
I proceeded to use my PC and did 1/4 of the hood with 3M F it II and realized I would not finish on time ( 3M F it II, 3M SMR, 3M IHG and Show Car Wax) so I took out the two AMINO products I was going to use on my car to test.
By hand - I am much faster then with the PC (used it only once.)
I had only 2 hours to finish.
Restoration pre cleaner - Used a Meg's foam pad and used circular motion as directed although they suggest terry cloth pads.
Very easy on and very easy off. It gave the car a very deep glossy shine.
Next I applied
Liquid Polymer Wax - Again with a foam pad (recommended)
Also went on easy and came off easy ( waited 25 minutes before removing it)
BTW both items are recomended to be used with a PC for best results.
Since both the weather and the light in the garage $ucked I couldn't really tell if the pre cleaner got rid of any of the light swirls. The car has lots of deep scretches so I hope to experiment with the PC and the 3M products for better results in the future.
It took me 5 hours with 2 lunch breaks.
Obviuosly these pictures are also low quality, especially the first one
I will take new and better pictures tomorrow if it is sunny.
