So I got stripes painted on my car.
They looked great, but after a couple weeks I noticed the stripe on my hood looked like it had black streaks in it from a certain angle.
It almost looked "scratched" in the metallic if that makes sense.
Anyway.
I took it back and the guy at the shop was very nice and said no problem they would repaint it.
They repainted it and the stripe is indeed fixed.
But now the metallic on parts of the rest of the hood looks a bit mottled.
Almost like big blotches.
But the thing is you can't really tell except for a certain angle.
So... I know that this forum is a large group of people that are A LOT like me as far as being OCD about their paint. That's why I love it here hehe.
To the average guy this might not even matter, so I guess I'm trying to figure if I'm just being too picky or not.
I would take pics, but I'm in Houston and we're being smacked by Eduard right now
Thanks for any opinions.
BTW I paid almost 2k for the stripes so it's not an Earl Sheib job.
