Aluminum Rim: What can be done?

I've got a customer who has these Mickey Thompson wheels on his truck, but they look like crap. He hates the way they look and wants to know if anything can be done to them. Do any of you think there worth working on or should I tell him there's no hope?

Well they are kind of fuggly, but polishing them up would be a step forward. I have wheels similiar to that, non clear coated. You realy have to stay on top of them...

i would suggest using aluminum wheel acid 40 percent acid,60 percent water together as a mixture ,in a spray bottle...very inportant ....spray one wheel with mixture, and srub with soapy water and rinse A.S.A.P........ONE WHEEL AT A TIME AND THEY WILL LOOK BRAND NEW.....ALUMINUM WHEEL ACID is not kids play,,,it will burn the aluminum if you don't do it just like i said

Wheel acid will turn those uncoated alloy wheels white. Acid is meant for chrome and/or clear-coated wheels.
