Alloy wheels with rivets

I have just purchased some alloy wheels that have rivets and was wandering if anyone else had these.I would like some tips on cleaning these. They have small areas that anormal brush will not reach.

I was looking into a set of AR wheels that have the rivots all around the perimeter and the first thing I though of was they'd be a bear to clean. Autopia has really sunk into my thought process.

Paintbrush! They're also great for removing wax residue around emblems and cleaning hard-to-reach parts.

My wheels have rivets but cleaning them is very easy.

I use a big 100% cotton chenille covered sponge.. dip the sponge in the bucket-o-regular-car-soap... and push the sponge against the rivets and move it around the rim in a circular motion. Its pretty harsh on the sponge but does the trick every time. Takes just a few seconds to clean em... so far I see no need to use wheel cleaner..

I hear ya. Rivets can be a pain in the arse.

I use a tooth brush that I heated up a bit and bent it backwards so it fits better. Its got really soft bristles so I'm not worried about it scratching anything. Use a good wheel cleaner and clean them frequently and you shouldn't have much of a problem. They take a lot longer to clean but they're worth it.

RE: Klasse on wheels

Just chiming in... Had AIO+2 and SG+3 put on my wheels. Amazing - cuts down on brage dust and makes them much easier to clean. It appears to stand up to the heat well.

For rivets and the like, the guy just used some QD spray and a small brush and wipe.

Recommend AIO and SG highly for wheels...
