All Time Favorite Detailing Product

I agonized with this one... do I choose one of the new stars, like M105/M205, or and old staple like M80, or my new favorite LSP, Wet Diamond?

In the end... it was Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax.

For me, it's probably Prime Strong. I've found it useful for paint prep/seal, trim, wheels, glass, and on bread when I run out of peanut butter. Other contenders are Cockpit Premium, SIP, and Werkstat Satin Prot. Wet Diamond is my favorite sealant, but I can't say it stands head and shoulders above all the other good options.

I've only been doing this for a year and a half and my experience has been restricted to our personal vehicles. It is impossible for me to answer this question. But the following products stand out over all that I have used:

1) Swissvax Wheel Brush: I know it's a tad expensve for a small brush, but I use it all the time and it works great. I use it to clean the wheel face and lug nuts.

2) Optimum No Rinse: I do not use ONR all the time. There are times when I prefer an ordinary car wash, and even when I'm using ONR, I prefer a hose to clean the wheels and tires. But ... it's great when I want to do a quick wash--no hose to worry about, no water dripping from hidden cavities. And during the winter months, ONR is just a necessity. I can wash my car in the garage.

3) Meguiar's Ultimate Wipe: this is my favorite microfiber towel. I use it to remove wax and quick detailer.

4) Ultima Paint Guard Plus: this is the sealant I use on my wife's car. I love the ease of use: wipe on and walk away. The simple fact is, the less time I have to spend on my wife's car, the better. It's easy to apply, it looks good, and it's durable. I've never tried Opti-Seal, so I can't compare; I gather the two products are comparable. I'm so glad someone invented a good wipe-on/walk away sealant.
