Here is a break up detail here in Fairbanks. Nice green Chevy Silverado.
I used a swirl-o-matic car wash to get the chunks off. Then used Poorboy’s S&W to clean it up for the detail. The owner was interested in getting rid of the accumulated swirls on the vehicle. I believe that I did just that.
I started out with SSR2.5 on the hood but it did not seem to get the job done so I brought out the SSR3 and used it on the entire vehicle then followed up with SSR2.5
SSR3 and yellow LC cutting pad
SSR2.5 with Orange LC light cutting pad
Poorboy’s PP with white LC polishing pad
Poorboy’s Ex-P with Black LC finishing pad
No interior work done on this vehicle or the engine compartment. Because it is break up around here the wheels and wheel wells were not done either.
The end results
I tried to get a sun shot of the swirls that were left but to be honest I removed 90% of them. There still was marring on the whole truck but you did have to look very hard to see them.
The reflection shot.
Any questions or comments welcome.
