I was wondering what was the difference between the Hitemp light, medium, heavy cut levelers and the hitemp akrya levelers? Is it like akrya i shte proffesional line of hitempt products and the light, heavy, med levelers are the non pro line?



I ask this because I recently bought the ligh, med, heavy cut levlers, becaues I dind't see or know that the akyra line existed. hope I dind't make a mistake.

I would think it follows the same lines as others .

Heavy = 800-1000 grit leveler

Medium = 1200-1500 grit

Light = 2000 grit leveler

The scratch removers might leave surface dull somewhat so polish will be needed after .

The levelers can be dangerous if you dont know what youre doing . They are mainly for body shop type work ( wetsanding )

I think you'll be ok with the PC...and chances are, you'd only need the Light Cut unless you got some serious swirls.

im not too sure if the hi, med, heavy, extreme cuts are body shop safe but the akrya 600 & 800 work very well when sanding. Ive tried them with foam pads and it didnt work too well. Since theyre heat induced levelers i used the akrya's with a wool pad and had great results. then when you get to using the foam pad you can go to either the akrya 2000 or somehting like light cut or even Optimum.
