Air Fresher?

What's a good air fresher to use thats last a while? I have been using the hanging type but they don't last long.
 
I use a couple of bounce sheets under the front seats...they're discreet and something we all have at hand. They don't last too long but effective.
 
try getting a bottle of febreeze. helps with any odors and also last a while. i dont know if they have any variety of scents but the scent of febreeze is pretty good. nice, soft smell. plus when ever u want to aplly ,more u just respray.
 
I use the trees. haha.. the new car scent (blue). people say that they dont last long but i have had mine in there for about 2 or 3 months and it is still noticible.

Get a bar of soap still in the box, cut some slits in the box, place under seats and enjoy the freshness! (especially at summer)

Or, I sometimes put Gain powdered laundry detergent in some cheesecloth and tie it up and it works really well, but can get a bit dusty.

Where do you get these from? I was given one by someone I did a detail for and actually liked it.
 
my girlfriend got me a Yankee Candle Midsummers Nights Dream or something like that air freshener. I think she got it at Hallmark or anywhere that sells Yankee Candles. Its been in my truck since February and still smells great. It was really strong at first but now it is very pleasant. Gotta love my girl...she sure knows how to take care of me:)
 
I also use the Yankee Candle Freshener. My wife loves the cotton smell. I can't say I disagree. We have a candle store at the mall that sells all the flavors. So check out your local mall. It is probably the store you walk by and never even notice is there most of the time...lol.
 
It took me a while, but I finally found the closest "new car" scent possible.

AutoExpressions, gel air freshner. I bought it at Walmart. It's a little cup, about 1/2 inch tall and you peel back the top sticker to reveal a vented plastic cover and the gel beneath. Directly smelling it, it doesn't smell like a new car, but when it's in your car...wow.

I can't tell if the smell wore off, or if I'm just used to it, but its been in the car 4-5 weeks. I can't notice it too much anymore, but a friend said he could smell it when he got in.

Another one I have heard about, but not used...Ozium New Car Scent. All I know is that it's a spray type.

I got that one after I heard Sean talk about it. I think it smells nice. Not like a new car, but a fresh & clean scent. Good stuff.

Did u get the New Car Scent, or the Original Scent?

I have heard the original has a fresh smell and the new car smelled just like new car.

My mom is retired and works part time at a pharmacy/gift shop to pass the time. They have all sorts of things that smell good. I buy 20 at a time and hand them out with details. I'd say try and find a place like that or I think Yankee Candle has their own stores.

It's called "That New Car Scent" and it has a car silhouette with a red ribbon tied around it on the canister. It does not smell like a new car, at least to me. It does, however, smell nice and fresh. I'm not a huge fan of evaporating gasses & glues, so I would take it (the Ozium scent) over the real new car smell. First thing I do when I buy a new vehicle is drive around with the windows down to weaken the smell inside. Just a personal thing I guess, but I have heard where new car's smell will make some people sick.

lol, I'm actually not sure that people realize that the true new car scent is just that, evaporating chemicals and plastic crap...

I will have to give the Ozium a shot once my current AF runs down. The "new car smell" I look for is not necessarily a true new car smell, but the smell of a car you bring home from the dealership.

I'm sure that is mostly just the cleaners they use while detailing your car, but it smells great. Like I said, the autoexpressions AF that I am using now has a very similar smell to how my (used) car smelled when I bought it. Clean, fresh, and maybe new.
 
I've tried Ozium and the Squash scented air fresheners from Japan. They both work well, but I prefer the Squash one because you have to spray the ozium. You can just let the air fresheners do their job without having to continually spray them.
 
i used to have these squash scented ones from japan, but recently i just changed. here in hawaii theres a place called sanrio suprise, its like a girl's storer with tons of pink stuff and cute stuff. anyways, i just walked in there like a man, and went to the air fresheners. theyre these bead things. i got the strawberry and vanilla scented ones. for $5 it is prettty good.
 
Spencer Air CS-X3 Squash scented in the back seats, and an Air Spencer Giga Squash scented clipped to the vents in the front. The smell is amazing, and almost addictive. A tuner shop here stocks them. They are expensive but worth it.
