Air Freshener

Just a quick thought, many of my customers want a decent air freshener ,i personally think the smell of natural look would be great ,what are the chances of this being produced as an air freshener steve?

It was...some people who got the Cherry or red Air Freshener as a free gift could give you some more feedback. The funny thing is we sent out over 8 cases so far and have received very little feedback leading us to believe that these will not be joining our product line soon:dunno

I actually like the air freshners. When I do someone else's car I like to do that in the end to give it that extra clean smell.

I like the leather smell and my nephew says it last a long time. This weekend I got the chance to take a wiff of the cherry :hurl ... that one I could live with out...Please keep some of them.. Or at least bring some down to the atlanta meet so i can get another bottle..It was a great gift... :bigups

I was pretty impressed with mine. Even though i'm a Coconut guy ;) , the Vanilla was proabably my 2nd choice. Any other car scent kinda makes me car sick :hurl .

Saturday I gave my sister's escort a nice wash and coat of PwC. I also gave the interior a much needed vac, and my finishing touch was with Poorboy's Vanilla car freshner. I was a little skepetical about spraying it on my sister's mats, because their beige. I was thinking i'd be getting wet lines all over the place, but the freshner didn't produce any lines or smudges. I did about 2-3 sprays on each mat so maybe around 11-12 sprays total in the car. It had a nice smell, that wasn't super empowering, but present. I'm curious to see how long it lasts, because i've tried a couple different car freshners (little tree, yankee candle jar, ultra gel, etc.) and really don't recall one lasting that that long. I think this spray is a nice finishing touch for any detailer. It looks very professional, and you don't have a gaudy lil tree hanging from your rearview mirror ;)
You just gotta make sure your customer first approves the scent, I would think it would be kinda hard to remove the scent.

I actually got that leather smell with my last order it took me a whiule to figure out the smell. But it know has become a people pleaser customers love that smell that can't figure out. But smells clean. Please keep them and and keep trying new scents. It will allways be a love and hate scenario.

Steve,

I guess I would like to appologize about the lack of feed back on my behalf! I have The Leather, and the vanilla.

Here is a breif write up!
The Leather scent which I received first when I placed a large spring order. Im not sure that it smells 100% like leather or more so like a Newer/cleaner car scent. Lasts very long (I sprayed it in my Sable when I got the bottle at least 2 months ago and it still has that nice scent) I have since sprayed it in everyone's car that I have done and all rave about how nice the interior smells. I think the best description that I have heard is that its neutral its not very over powering like the christmas tree air fresheners!

The vanilla.
Again im not sure that it smells like the vanilla I know. I think it has to do with the fact that its more concentrated. Plus Ive noticed that when you first spray (either scent) it takes a few mins for the scent to actually smell like it should I assume it needs to settle! Either which way The Vanilla doesn't last as long as the leather I sprayed it in the Mustang The following weekend after the detailing meet and the car no longer smells like Vanilla. (Granted it is a convertible and when the top is down it does have a tendency to pick up other scents)

Either which way ..I love both scents Its not a product that as an actual exact "Application process" and I am guessing that this has something to do with why your not receiving many reviews on it.

In my opinion These are some of the best air fresheners I have found! I know that these are very generic scents but there is one scent that if you could duplicate would be absolutly awesome! Yankee Candle sells Auto airfresheners and one specificly that I personally love is called "Mid-Summers Night" Its a good scent .. Or maybe you should just come up with your own personal scent and call it Poorboy scent!

thanks for the reviews:)

when I get that personal scent, my wife sends me to the shower:lmfao :rolling :rofl

A while back I recieved green colored air freshener, to me it smells like green apples in a way. I personally love it. I just a detail the other day and I sprayed in the vents and under the seat. The customer really liked as well. I would definitly purchase this scent. :bigups

I find that completely amazing. A company goes out of its way to send it's customers free product and only asks for a few sentences in return. If people can't take the 30 seconds to send a pm through this site to you, they don't deserve the fre stuff in the first place.

As I said to you via phone and email, my male customers tend to not like the cherry flavored air freshener and prefer the leather scent more. My female customers haven't said anything about either scent as of yet. But I suspect they like both.

I just received my free air freshner a couple of days ago. I'd PM but not sure where or how. I love the stuff. I'd buy it for sure (got the leather scent.)

Private Message "Poorboy" with all your comments and suggestions! I'd love to order these from Steve

SC,

While I understand what your saying about people taking 30 seconds to give a quick review. There are a lot of times when I will detail my car or someone elses and use a product and not even think about it! I know personally when doing an exterior detail I pay attention a bit more being that the process can take any where from 2-3 hrs. But when you use a product for all of 30 seconds not much thought goes into it.

I forgot to take my bottle home from the detail day... Maybe I can get steve to send me a bottle of the leather scent with my next order ;)

Steve, some of the testers have mentioned spraying these air fresheners in their vents - which begs the question...Do these products have biocide (?) component as with Natural Look (IIRC). And another question, why don't you advertise that aspect of NL on the website?

no the Air freshener's don't have biocides in them as far as i know, but it could be something to look into...I guess we never thought of pushing the aspect in Natural Look, but I guess we should;)

Isn't it great to have direct access to vendor(s) and have those vendors willing and able to receive and consider product suggestions! Thanks DC and Steve :bigups

I definitely consider it a worthy selling point, and take that component into consideration when selecting an interior product.
