I recently read some discussion about various AIO products regarding whether or not they removed what was previously applied to the painted surface.
I have always felt the Klasse AIO, Optimum Poli-Seal and Poorboy's Polish with Sealant cleaned the finish to the point where it was ready for any LSP.
Have I been wrong?
I don't think I am having any problems with the products I use after the AIO, but it is possible I might be compromising the results with out knowing it.
As far as products that might leave some polishing oils after use, about the only one I can think of would be Meguiar's #80. Even then, it is usually followed by another Meguiar's product such as NXT 2.0.
At this point in time, my LSPs seem to be Dura Gloss 105, Optimum Opti-Seal, NXT 2.0, and S100 Carnauba.
Chances are that my applying more every 4 to 6 weeks takes care of any possible durability problems.
Using Dura Gloss Aqua Wax a few times during that 4 to 6 weeks probably helps, too.
Most likely a moot point for me, but still of some interest.
