AIO on windows?

question, when you put AIO on your windows, do you first clean the windows with your glass cleaner or just put the AIO on there, let it sit for a few mins and buff out? thanks

I'd be sure to clean the windows first, then AIO. The AIO can help restore slickness and seems to somewhat improve clarity.

AIO works very well on windows. When I first got my new car I had some pretty bad waterspots that only showed up when the windows had moisture on them. It took two applications with a light cutting pad, but those water spots were removed and now the glass is perfect.

AIO is teriffic on glass. I use it on all exterior windows after either Autoglym or Zaino glass polish. It makes for a crystal clear combination.

I've read alot about it on here but have never tried it. I'm going to give it a try next wash. Do you guys use the PC or by hand on the glass?

I apply AIO after a wash and dry, so the glass is usually quite clean. If it needs a deep polishing then do that first.

I used to use DP spray sealant on the windscreen too but recently find myself using #425.

I've used AIO on all of our cars' glass for about 3 years now, after I first read on the bottle that you could use it on virtually everything (back in my inexperienced days).

Since I only ever do it right after a wash, along with paint care, I just make sure to thoroughly scrub the glass when washing and dry it, then go right ahead with the AIO. No real need to use a separate glass cleaner beforehand if the car was just washed, at least no in my experiences.

Same with me mate, only I use Carlack68 (yellow one, its cheaper)

I use either VM or AIO on windows. I do it after a wash, so the windows are already clean. I apply them both by hand, one window at a time and remove them right away.

On customers cars I don't put nothing on the windshields because the of wiper glare. On those dark rainy nights wax/sealer leaves wiper glare for a second or two after the wiper has passed (even worse on worn wipers) and that’s a liability.

If you can’t see out your windshield for a second or two it’s less time to respond to a situation in front of you.

If a customer request windshield treatment I will put it on with a warning about wiper glare.

I make a little extra $ by selling new wipers, washer fluid to customers, that and news tires (which I make $10.00 commission per tire), checking light bulbs inside and out. It all adds up for better profit and good customer service that they love.
