aio on a pc....

i need to give a car a mild clean up, nothing too aggresive

i was thinking of trying aio on my pc...but it doesnt seem to lend itself to staying wet, any tips for succesful use?

Just used it on the weekend - very impressed... my paint is in good condition but I was disappointed with a panel when I tried to skip the clay step. The Klasse AIO gets the finish so smooth it makes any contamination really stand out - so yeah go for it but get some Sonus extra fine clay and use that first.

I had no problem with removal either - if it did get tricky in a few spots I just hit it with some Sonus Acrylic Glanz.

Have fun!

I have used AIO with Sonus blue pad for light cleaning. Can lightly mist pad with water, but I usually don't need to and just prime pad with AIO.

Extremely easy to spread and work in lightly. Once pad is primed, only need to apply a light drizzle to pad per panel. Doesn't stain so don't be afraid to get on trim, etc. Wipe off wet.

Verstile, easy, and very effective cleaner. Leaves high gloss.

Just my 2 cents.

Yes, I have used the blue Sonus DAS pads for AIO. Doesn't have much bite but I only use AIO for cleaning, not really correction.

Maybe you use more, I'm not sure, but the amount used is very, very little. Like I said, once the pad is primed I only 'drizzle' a thin circle around the pad per panel. Probably use an ounce or two for whole car.

I prefer the Sonus SFX Polishing Pads to the DAS pads (I have both). The SFX seems a bit firmer, neater and easier to work than the DAS pad!

Just my 2c!

I agree SFX seams to be more comfy for me as well, DAS are great too but I think they soak more product than SFX and they are harder to wash. Over the weekend I used SFX-2with AIO and it worked out nicely - for the first AIO experience. I did SG by hand since I use SFX-3 for IW845 application and I always put too mush product (not enough practice yet). :)

I use the same setup but hit the pad with a few shot of QD first. I end up using very little AIO Maybe a dime size amount per panel after I make a small X for the first panel

I can't comment or compare the SFX pads to DAS pads as I haven't tried the SFX yet.

well DAS pads are all i have right now, so its gona have to be them

what pc speed are using? and sinse aio doesnt break down...do i just work the products accross the panel and wipe off?

I use about speed 4 on the PC.

I make a few passes to lightly work the cleaner into the panel, but not really long like breaking down an abrasive polish.

I used my rotary on low rpm and finishing pad. Goes very fast to spread it over the car. Waited 10min then wiped it off. Good results.
