AIO and meg foam pad

I used AIO on a meg yellow foam applicator. I sprayed it with water prior to using it, and used my little spray bottle full of AIO to go around the car. After washing it out i put it in a ziplock for storage. When i took it out of the bag the other day the foam was destroyed. The two layers of foam were sepperating and the foam was rotton feeling.
What happend here?
 
Never heard of anything like this happen. I use AIO alot with the Megs yellow foam pad and stored it in ziplock backs sometime still damp and never had any problems. Do you keep the bag open or tightly sealed?
