AIO and Glaze

Would an application of Meguiar's #7 or #81 remove or reduce the life of AIO? How long should AIO last as the LSP?

I personally would never use AIO as a LSP. Clay, remove swirls etc, AIO, sealant or favorite LSP next:xyxthumbs

AIO works fine as a LSP and is an excellent one-step product. Topping it with another product might offer more durability but that depends on what topper you're using.

I'm not clear as to where the glaze fits into your plan. Before or after the AIO? If before, the solvents in AIO will remove the glaze. If after, well, I'm not sure why you'd use a glaze on top of AIO. In general, sealants and glazes do not go together.

Help us out with your game plan.

I was thinking of the AIO as protection for the paint and a glaze on top as a filler for minor imperfections then topped with #16.

Hmmm..... I'm not too sure about this idea. By using AIO first you will have an acrylic "barrier" between the paint and the glaze. The glaze will sit on top of the AIO instead of being worked into the uneven surface of the paint. Plus, my guess is the oils and solvents in the glaze will erode some of the AIO.

Individually these products work fine but together..... I dunno.....
