Ahhhhhhhhh *(^%&$^##*$

Jeff- to me Pinnacle Black Label is amazing looking (even compared to EXO) and is far easier to apply. EXO may have a slight edge in water beading (very close) but Pinnacle is wetter looking and sheds dirt just as effortlessly.

never used exo ron but i have the elite coating kit and finally coated my daily driver last night. illtell you this, worth every penny and i still have about a dozen applications left

the black label paint coating is easier to use than the surface polish and thats a breeze to apply and wipe off..this is almost like a WOWA

i will post a thread soon with my pics

Well for me with a wowa sealant, I always gotta go back and level out high spots......

So this I just gotta level out a little sooner

get Sonax Polymer net shield. I bet its beading and hydrophobics are better and its cheaper and easy to apply. good lord they upped the price from 49.99 for DP to 79.99 for Pinnacle cause it has a new label. I would bet they are the EXACT same thing.

for the sake of my sanity i'd hope not

I gotta hope you're wrong, since I just ordered both of em

I guess I just can't imagine wetter than the EXO however this has been a great learning experience. When arrived in 2008 onto TID I would have sworn for P21S 100% as the best beading. It was great but sadly I was at it almost every 4 weeks to keep those beads and it attracted dirt like crazy.

Perhaps next time it is time to buy some coating I give the Pinnacle a whirl.

What is the shelf life on the pinnacle once it is opened? I was told to keep the EXO in the Fridge after opening to extend the pot life to 2 weeks. Usually I can get 2 cars + wheels out of 30 Ml's. If I don't have 2 cars ready to go I end up wasting some.

The EXO both V1 and V2 have really amazed me as has Opticoat 2.0 in terms of durability and self cleaning. A good rain clean them up fairly nicely. I can clean my rims with a pressure washer to about 90%+ and the Beads on the EXO are awesome. I believe I applied it in July and they still look like they were some yesterday. The water looks frightened to be on the hood and literally jusps off.

Because the pump spray limits the amount of oxygen ingested into the sprayer, the shelf life should be considerable. We have been testing it over several years and have yet had a bottle harden or pre-cure.

Ronny, Looks great no doubt. In all honesty the inital pop can be had from Turtle Wax I cut my teeth on many moons ago. I applied the EXO many months ago and my car still looks like a sucking candy (that a good thing)after it rains. Its the highly reflective, chrisp reflection I am chasing. Now add duribility and ease of maintenance. If you get that from whatever product that is a winner. Once we get to that level we can add price and ease of application to the mix.

Don't get me wrong. I have not tried alot of coatings only opticoat and EXO v1 and V2. I have one more "naked" vehicle to tend to but I am waiting for an indian summer day to knock it out.

Enjoy your tropical winter buddy.............you earned it with all those NE winters in CT.

That thread was 2 months later and never been touched, not even washed..

Can't believe it took me so long to get into coatings (since you've been telling me forever ) :)

When you headed down this way?

My son made his HS basketball team so there goes my December and February vacation. I took trip insurance so I was not hurt too badly. I hope to get down in April.
