Saw this Oxo duster last year in Professional Car Wash and Detailing magazine. They never sent me requested info on it. Guess there was a big delay releasing it.



Any way ,glad to see its out and we'll see if it's a CCD replacement.

No, different company. I read the product description and looks like the cotton threads on this one are softer than the CCD. If this duster is as good as Oxo's wheel brushes, I'm sure it will be a hit.

I bought both the large and small dusters more than a month ago from the Better Car Care site. They are very well made, quality items.

I never owned a Cali duster. I always figured that wooden handle looked too much like one of the cheep spindles from the head board of the bed I had as a kid.



So I'm afraid I don't have a term of reference for how good it works aside from the excelent construction. I also haven't had much oportunity to use it yet since the car never gets dusty, just totally splatered with slush and crap.



When spring comes I'll have plenty of opportunity to use it and I'm hoping it'll cut down on both the time it takes to QD and the number of swirl marks
