Advertising Q

Hello everybody I'm new to the board and I have a question about advertising. Have any of you gotten window graphics on your rear windshield for your business? I'm thinking about getting it done, I own a 2003 Acura RSX Type S (black with blue flake) that turns out real good when I do it. I'm also going to be taking the detail king training soon and get some business cards printed up that show the certification. Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Shaun

I used to work for a sign shop and assuming that price is for a one color vinyl cut name and number, it sounds pretty reasonable. Be careful with serifs (little feet on the letters, right?) as they can unstick after a few months and you end up just xacto-ing them off. If you have a pop-up canopy, have them letter the canopy also. They may give you a break a bit on price.

It's hard to say. Up till a couple weeks ago I wasn't asking every person how they heard of me.... Now that I'm asking, I think I had 2-3 out of roughly 15 calls I had last week that called because they saw me driving around...

Point to ponder...

Once you apply any type of decal advertising your business, the RMV/DMV/DOT of your state may require you ro re-register the vehicle as a commercial vehilce, which you have to renew every year and pay more in$urance for!

Does that apply to magnetic signs?

In Massachusetts it does. The local police and State Police can stop a vehicle advertised for business if it does not have a commercial registration.

i have an rsx type s also, and i put window stickers on each side on the rear portion of the window, and it seems to get a lot of hits... ive never been bothered by the law or anything because of it.

Def. a good point to ponder... When I went for my Bus. License, I specifically asked about signs and was told no problem....
