advertising on here...

Read the spam thread pinned to the top of this forum about general rules of advertising in the pro forum (and the rest of the forum in general).

I think if you are asking about paying for advertising, it would probably be best to contact DavidB or the moderators directly.

thank you very much

few things come to mind...

why would you advertise a local business on a national forum?

why would you advertise your capabilities to those who are allready capable and doing the same thing?

Might want to turn your dollars spent over to a local car forum

That's one of the ideas of the board. It's a mix of amateurs and pros that know their stuff. Rarely, someone will ask for a detailer on a local board. Other than that, no one is trying to get anyone else's business here. Take a look around. It's nothing but people discuss work and showing pix of jobs. It really is a great community. :woot:

I believe there's a gray area between blntent spam and showing off. There is a section here for showing off your work, and we all want to see it and pat you on the back, but going off and spaming links and having all kinda GO BUY NOW stuff in your sig is frowned upon.

I can't agree on it not being a competitive atmosphere.

I've had several potential clients go with other members bc long-standing members recommended them.

Same with that other board, JC.
