Advanced Auto Tire Shine

Why, yes.... yes I have tried this tire dressing!

*PD, not water based.
*Contains "Heavy Silicones"
*"Pleasant Cherry Scent" (yet warns to "avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors. Vapors may be harmful." :lol )
*"Infinitely Adjustable" sprayer. Worked well for even distribution/accuracy of spray.
*Compares itself to Black Magic Tire Wet (but states it is not made by the same company/companies).
*Stains pavement.
*Pretty glossy, even a few days later.
*Fairly good durability, but is dependent on where you drive (dirt roads vs. highway vs. short trips around town).
*Kind of greasy for a while after application. Dust sticks to it well. :(
*Makes tires look black. No cleaners listed on the bottle, didn't try it as such either, so I can't say if it would do much in regards to cleaning.
*States on the bottle that you don't "need" to wipe it down after, but warns of possible damages from sling/staining, and also mentions that you should wipe off excess. (contradicts itself, I'd say! :D )

Overall, looked good, if you like glossy, but not "bright/plastic-y" looking tires. If you like a more "natural" look, you should probably pass on this product .

Also, I don't know if the "heavy molecular weight silicones" are the "bad" silicones that may cause premature wear/cracking of tires or not. I've been sticking with water-based tire dressings lately, but did try this a while back, when I was experimenting without regard to long-term effects. (I didn't know any better. No...wait... "I have since increased my understanding and appreciation of the intricacies pertaining to this particular aspect of automotive preservation." .....yeah....that's it! :naughty )

For the Love of God don't use this crap.

It took about 5 gallons of degreaser to clean this junk off my tires. It attracted dirt like a mad man, and when it rained, not only did it get all over the paint, the dirt off the road stained the tires from this.

I also made the mistake of dressing my enigne with it.

Between the tires, and engine, and a 4500psi pressure washer I blasted that garbage off.

Stick to detailer's advantage tire foam.
