Additional NANO pads?

Can anyone tell me how long until we can order the UHS NANO sized pads?

I need something in between the blue and yellow

I was thinking about picking up some 1 and 2 inch Flex GREEN pads- I ordered a 1 inch one with my last order-- not sure if the 3 inch is a good idea on the larger 2inch pb or not (unsure if that would cause stress on the tool)

I know they`re gonna say prolly not to use any other pads BUT I`m quite certain that is a Flex Green pad being used on that bike on the NANO page (definitely doesn`t look blue to me but then again I sucked at that whole blue/green dress facebook debacle, ha)

Since I can`t reach anyone at ACC or AG on the phone during my lunch I figured I would post up and see if maybe TODD@RUPES would be able to answer or anyone that has any idea would be appreciated.

I don`t want to buy $50 of flex little pads if the UHS ones are going to come out soon, you know?

Thanks to anyone who is able to help

I ordered a 1inch green flex the other day....when using this over the week I realized my immediate need for a pad in between yellow and blue

plus I`d like a dedicated finishing pad too (I think the flex black would be fine for that)

BUT I like how Rupes makes their tools to essentially get the same results controlling for size of the pad when using their stuff- so I kind of wanted to get Rupes pads for that reason

They should have stocked the pads before they sold the tool. Unless the pads are still in customs. I`m still waiting to place my order for a Nano. I want everyone to iron out the problems for me. Lol

Kevin can make any pad you want for the machine. I want to pick up some Meg`s microfiber pads from him for my nano. Could be a killer combo!

I can try out my Flex pads for you tonight and see how they do. They are a lot softer than the Rupes pads though. Might not work that well in DA mode, but should be great for Rotary.

Just tried my 2" Flex Pad with the Large Orbit and M105. It definitely vibrates a lot more than with a Rupes Blue Coarse pad. Night and day difference between the two. I am wondering if the smaller orbit will have any effect on the vibration.

Don`t think this is suppose to happen though.....Crap. Second use!

Yep, sure is. I even tried to grab as close to it as possible and it still started to pull off with the pad.
That sucks man

This happened to my duetto after my second long sessiom using the green (self destructing) pad.

Lived with it 2 yrs + but it`s obviously a much less % of surface area missing than yours

How were you ising it?
what task?
What speed?
How long?
We need data on this tool it seems

I definitely love my Rupes products.

I had a problem with my mini as well. The BP warped on me.

I was using it in the 12mm and a 2" Coarse pad on speed 5. Compounding 1500 grit wet sanding marks. Probably 4 passes with a steady arm speed. Roughly 30-45 seconds of continuous use.

Do you know what the lights mean? I couldn`t find a definite answer in any of the 5 "warning" books. Lol
