Adams vs Wenol

Have any of you tried both of their metal polishes? I have been curious about them and wanted to buy one of their products. The Adams looks like it does an excellent job. Now everyone on here says that Wenol red and blue do an excellent job. But have any of you used both? I don't just want to know which one ends up better but also ease of use and whatever else I may need to know. TIA.

I've used both (and others as well...tons of polished aluminum to do). Adams #2 Metal Polish is very nice stuff. It's a liquid versus Wenol's paste, but works well. My primary use is polished aluminum wheels (both inner and out rim) and I can soak a rag to apply and buff with a cotton buffing wheel on a drill.

Before a car show, I'll use Meguiar's NXT Metal Polysh or Mother's Billett Creme for a final coat.

MobileJay: Yes, I like Adams #2 more than Wenol. I've also used their more aggressive #1 on some stainless exhaust tubing that I polished for the Mach 1. Both are excellent products, but I think you'll like the #2 as a general metal polish.

Wenol says it can take out surface rust. This if from website

"WENOLÒ can remove surface rust with normal use. On tougher rust areas apply a small amount of WENOLÒ and let stand for approximately ½ hour. Then apply a small amount of polish and rub briskly over the rusted area. Pits and scratches cannot be removed."

Can Adams?

I have used both and several others and now use white diamonds. It is a liquid that has to be shook up but works great.

crap! I only heard about those 2 and was going to make a choice, now I have 2 other ones to throw in the mix. So is this going to be just like asking someone what the best polish is? Its based on opinion? I have some rust stains to take out of the chrome center caps if that makes it easier to chose, unless they can all take out surface rust

Semichrome makes an excellentt polish

my cousin turned me on to this stuff about twenty something years ago and I find it the only polish I use

a little goes a looooooong way
