adams brillant spray glaze

Has anyone used Adam's Brillant Spray Glaze for chrome? Just wondering what yor thoughts were. Aslo going to be trying a couple new QDs thinking Clearkote Quickshine and Adams Detail

Spray. These products are mostly for Harley Davidson detailing. Just wondering what all of you experts thought of my selections. Thanks

A while back I used Adam's Brillant product (before it became a spray). It actually worked pretty nice on chrome. However, it can be a bit tricky to use, and it doesn't last very long, so I've moved on to other products that I feel work better on chrome.

I've also tried Adams Detail spray, and it's a pretty nice product. However, I think QS, or Poorboy's new Spray & Gloss are even better. I doubt that you would go wrong with any of them though.

Good luck.

X2 although FK1s QD is pretty nice as well. Seem to reach for it every time lately. "It was free" maybe the reason why. It is anti static. :)

Welcome lorsbach,

I have not tried BSG yet. But I recently got the Adam's DVD where adam shows how you use it and the results you get. He shows how you spray it on the window and spread it around, let it haze and wipe it off. It left a georgous shine on the windows. He also showed it on chrome, it really made it sparkle nicely.

Now as for the detail spray, the Adam's spray is the best out IMO. Nothing leaves the finish slicker and glossier than the Adam's. I have tried the Poorboy's Spray and Gloss, it's ok, but the Adam's has a better overall look IMO. And the smell is to die for.

If I were you, I would go on Adam's website. Pickup the detail spray and 4 towel combo for $59.99, and pick up the spray glaze and you will be happy. And if you don't like the detail spray or the glaze, I will buy it from you. I could use another gallon, don't know what I need a 3rd gallon for, but what the hey!:D

Here are some link about Brilliant.

O4cobra,

Hmmmm.......... maybe I have to revist the Brilliant and Adam's detail spray, as I understand they have been changed........ maybe they are better. However, to be honest, I would probably consider your opinion much more valuable than that Nick guy, as it looks like he works for Adam's, and I suspect his opinion is very much "biased", as are some others that are his distributors........ no offense to anyone......... just how I see it!

I can see where you are coming from. But being around and hearing Nick's comments and Adam's comments, they educate people on the product and say what it's supposed to do. And they will both tell you straight out, if you find another product that works for you, stick with that. Nick and Adam are pretty good guys, they may be proud of their products, but they are entitled to it due to the fact that their products are very good. But like I said, I understand where you are coming from!! Nick is a tech rep and part owner of Adam's products I believe, but he is a detailer as well.:D

Scott, have you tried the Adam's detail Spray?

I haven't yet. I still have about 3/4th of a gallon of QS and 3 28oz bottles of Long Haul's Truck Gloss (I add an ounce or so to my QEW wash). I'm not a huge hurry to buy any new QDs right now. Maybe in a couple of months though.

For chrome you should try Adam's Metal Polish #2. Used it on duel pipes today and they looked very clear and shiney! Nick is not a partial owner of Adam's, but uses alot of Adam's products. Remember there is a 110% guarantee.

Silvabimma,

You are correct, he's not. I saw Owner and tech rep. above his name, I guess owner of The Details and tech rep for Adam's!

Scott, have you tried the new Poorboys Spray and Gloss or the Adam's Detail Spray? If so, how much difference between those and Quickshine? I've been using Megs Final Detail and looking for a replacement:D

I used Spray and Gloss and IMO it's better than Quikshine. Much slicker.
