Acrylic Jett Trigger question

Hey all... I bought some of this stuff about a week ago. I like it, very easy to use and the beading is nice... small beads and seems to come off during driving pretty well. My question is, can this be applied over any previous LSP or is it pretty much a sealant and can't be applied over wax? Most of my car had BFWD on it, but I think most of that has died down now. Also, how long should I wait to apply coats inbetween?

I'd just strip your old sealants/waxes with a dawn bath and then put your sealant on. After that just top it with BFWD or whatever you want

Try to clean off your paint. Dawn is an idea, so is an alcohol wipedown after a wash. My understanding is that not much sticks to BFWD.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend Dawn unless you are stripping the car down for paint, I'd just do a light polish (most cars need at least a little polishing anyway) and then apply AJ Trigger. You will definitely get the best results using it by itself.

I used to meticulously wipe down each panel of the car with a solvent and then reapply my LSP when I wanted to apply a new one. Now I have CGCW to just thoroughly wash the car in one shot to strip of its LSP. Then the paint ought to be naked and ready for a nice new fresh coat.

I think AJT wouldn't be awesome over BFWD just because of BFWD being an oily in watery type of sealant(which is weird but whatever) and AJ being sorta a specialized sealant. But I think since BF is a top sitting sealant you could do the other - not that you would want to.
