Absolutely revolting customer service

I had a blast catching these guys for a couple hours today. Only used 22 wax worms though. I didn't expect to catch multiple fish on each wax worm.

cool thanks for the pics. is that an Ugly Stick in the pic ? :aww: I remember they said they were unbreakable. well let's just say somebody I know proved them wrong early on :o

Indeed it is. It's my ultralight Ugly Stik that I bought in Upper Michigan many years ago because I broke my other ultralight there when we were on vacation. I've caught some giant fish on that tiny rod and never had a problem with it. I haven't shut a door on it yet or stepped on it while it lies on the stairs like they show in the commercial.

Ohhhhh so you can't step on it or slam it in a car door ? dang it lol ! j/k I did get a replacement for the broken one and never had an issue with it. caught some big carp on our river here. I heard they had some problems when they first came out with them, maybe some quality control. was also a lot younger and maybe was a little hmm hmm hmm hard on my equipment back then

I have a medium action Ugly Stik. Nary a problem. :D

good to see they are going strong ( pun intended ) they have been around for a long time. I think my issue could have been a fluke. the replacement they sent me was fine for a few years. I then changed to a different maunfacturer for better feel. wonder how many stick's they have sold since they came out ?

Yep, both of my salmon rods are medium-action Ugly Stiks.

You CAN, according to the commercial.

Well I guess you could but I would not take the chance. I had to learn to take better care of my equipment when I started using Fenwick rods. I think I also did not use light enough line. once I started to learn how to backreel and use the flex of the rod, as they say the fish were history lol!
