whats the max speed you guys use on your pc or rotary? do you put your limit to 6 only?

The PC only goes to 6, so most of us use it maxed-out, at least with 5-6" pads.

On the rotary, most of us probably do most of our work between 1,000-1,600 rpms, but I've cranked mine up to over 2,000 rpms when working on the M3.

Are you all using Lake Country or other pads on speed 6? I've been learning with Meguiar's pads and they don't recommend speeds beyond 5. Curious if I should be increasing my speed to try to increase the correction?

Yeah, Meg's 6" pads were designed for rotary use (different stresses). But I thought they'd changed them so they'd be OK by PC :nixweiss I wouldn't be surprised if they were just saying to limit speed to 5 as a CYA sort of thing, but I wouldn't bet my last pad on it either ;)
