Yeah all my microtex ones have been reduced to overglorified shoprags -- I use them for wheel wells, engine bay, etc. The only thing I can't recall is the brand of the yellow ones sams sold for awhile and in some stores still sells. They're a decent towel after being washed a few times to get rid of the linting. Though now I think even those are only going to see interior duty.
 
the mf's are walmart and sams club are different. the blue & white microtex mf's at walmart compared to the hometex mf's at sams club are significantly different. the hometex are thicker/plusher and way nicer!
 
I noticed that your Z2 has turned from pink to brown. I had some that did the same and I have not used it because of the color change. Have you noticed any problem using yours?

I haven't used Z2 in awhile.... I bought that bottle back in 2001 and never used much since I had a dark colored vehicle. I'd always just grab for Z5. That bottle has maybe 3 coats out of it, total.



Now that I have a pewter truck, I'm going to start using the Z2 again. Tomorrow I have a fresh order of Zaino products comming in, which includes a bottle of Z2-Pro, Z8, and ZFX. We'll see if this order lasts me 3-4 years like the last order has! :o

:p I only put it there because I was using it recently in the driveway. I hadn't gotten around to putting that away yet. :o
 
LOL, I have that EXACT same 57 chevy poster on my bedroom wall, great taste :D . That's hilarious, it must be a Michigan thing, lol

haha I've had that thing for YEARS. I picked it up when I was 10 or so in Frankenmuth, MI at this country store that sells all kinds of stuff like that. "Rau's" I think it's called. :D
 
I dont even know where I got mine from, I think it was a present from my parents when I was little. I'll have to ask them if they remember where they got it from.
