A tour of my Products and Garage *23 PICS - 56k BEWARE*

I decided I might as well take pics (for this as well as other forums) of my product collection and garage since I was organizing the other night.

I still have to pull everything back out again to do spring cleaning once I get all the winter crap out of there (still 2 snowblowers, some shovels, and other miscelaneous seasonal tools taking up space). So, here goes. Keep in mind I was missing most of my towels (as you can see, I've got several ready to go to the washing machine) and such, but it's a basic idea.

What are the Hometex MFs? Is that a Wal-Mart brand, or do you order them online?

Neat garage and set-up.

Close. They're actually from Sam's Club. They come in an 18 pack for like $15 or so. :D

Thanks.

I really like the hometex microfibers. I got some from walmart last night 8 for $4.97. They are very nice for a OTC general purpose mf.

agreed! the hometex mf's are nice & plush and even after many washings, they still hold up as well as the more expensive ones i have. i wouldn't normally use just any otc mf's on the paint, but these i would. :up

Really? I didn't know they had the same ones at Wal Mart -- I thought they only had those blue/white 5 packs.

Not that it matters; I'm enough impressed with these for paint use that I'll end up with another 18 pack from Sam's next time I'm there. They're cheap enough I might start giving them away to customers with a small bottle of QD spray or something.

Hey..............where are the fbody pics...lol!!

A very organized set up you have. A real pro!

I was a little worried there when I didn't see any carnauba products, then I continued down a little further!!!!! Cool...

Yup, it's there.... S100 is about all I've found that I really like using as far as straight carnaubas go. I had a few others (#26, Blitz, 'cheap' Zymol) but I tossed them since my supply was low, and I wasn't using them.

Thanks for the compliments.

As for the person making a comment about the pads, remember I was in the process of cleaning up. Usually, they are stored differently. :up

That is what I was worried about. Cleaning = dust! :D

nah. These were all headded for a nice soak to clean 'em out. ;)

Usually, as I said, I keep 'em on one of the shelves in the closed units.

I was there last night (getting a CCD) and saw them tucked away on the bottom shelf. I wasn't expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised when they passed the cd scatch test. I may have to go back and grab a few more packs, definitely an improvement over the microtex brand.
