A Supra and a TL

I wasn't really planning on detailing much yesterday, but I went to get a little overspray off and shine up the engine of a Supra that I've been maintaining and the owner talked me into giving it a little polish and Wolfgang too. Then his neighbor asked if I could do a full job on his TL. It just so happened that I hadn't cleared out my stuff from the back of the Pilot from my last detail, so I said sure. :) Little did I know that the TL hadn't been cared for at all. That thing was covered in IFO and tar. The inside wasn't any picnic either. Pen on the leather, grease on the doors, scuffs everywhere... I tell ya. One man's treasure is another man's trash I guess. I would treat a leased TL much better than this.

I'd post better pictures, but the plates are showing in those angles and I'm just too tired to edit them out right now. lol The white certianly did shine up nice though. It got XMT2 and XMT1 for the swirls and then Wolfgang for the shine. The Supra got XMT1 and Wolfgang. They both got clayed and the tires got Four Star Bazooka Tire Dressing. I love that stuff... :)

both look great... supra owner doesnt have much taste in wheels imo... to blingy for a sports car

Oh, I don't know about that. Just because someone's taste is different than your own doesn't mean they don't have any. Those wheels actually look great in person.

Great job on both vehicles! It's a shame that the owners of the TL had let it get that bad. I know modding is all up to personal tastes, but IMO the owner of the Supra needs to rethink the mods that have already been done. The Supra was, and still is a Japanese tuning icon. It carries a stock block that is almost bullet proof and can be modded and tuned to insane hp numbers. The hood scoop, overdone body kit, and the wheels are taking away from the car though. A nice set of simple wheels, a subtle body kit, and a proper suspension drop would do that vehicle proud. Of course, most of this is just my opinion, so please take it as such.
