The other part that no one sees often or ever, is the flight to Dover AFB, Delaware, where there is a huge number of people who take our fallen brothers and sisters, and prepare the remains for burial.
They do the absolute best work on making the remains as presentable as possible for the family, dress the soldier in the best, newest, uniform with all the correct medals, and get everything else prepared for that final flight home..
If everyone would really think of this huge sacrifice that so many have made for US, it would have to have a most profound affect on their hearts and minds..
God Bless those that gave their ALL for this country and all the other countries that fought for freedom for their families !!!

This is so true. I have personally been to the facility at Dover AFB and can attest to the care that the fallen soldiers receive upon their return. The care and honor given is second to none. I have personally been on a flight line and witnessed the ceremony. It's truly moving.
