A SC'ed black HD edition Ford--FILTHY *56K* no way

I am in absolute awe of your talents. Even more amazing (to me) is that it was done in only eight hours. I can see that I have a long way to go and a lot more to learn.

I would never wash my car either if I was him..

That truck looks brand new !!

Are you sure it's the same truck? Did you stop for a drink and maybe someone switched trucks on you.. Maybe?

Always have to outdoor yourself, eh? Amazing job on the car, seriously doubt anyone would ever guess thats the same car.

Can you go into my description on what your process on the interior was? (shampoo carpets w/ what apc?)

Sure man...

vac (about 1 hour and change)

soak removable cup holders in soapy water

spray APC (I buy it locally) into carpet, brush with carpet brush, use little green clean machine with HOT water to extract.

spray APC on one panel at a time, steam cracks, crevices, and dirty areas, wipe with damp towel

use damp towel + APC on headliner

dress interior leather/vinyl

final vac to clean up debris that the steamer blew out, or brushing the carpet brought up

wipe down surfaces to reduce gloss left by dressing

a few shots of Meguiars odor eliminator

follow up with a MF with a touch of 20/20 on it for the clear plastic--this removes any streak/haze left from the APC.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!!!!

Looks great! How do you like the Megs All Season on the tires? Is it solvent based and does it sling?

Andrew

It is solvent based and *can* sling when not applied correctly. Thin coats, watch out for ribs or sidewall blocks...

Very nice work.

What are your thoughts on the BlackFire SRC?

Looks pretty good on there. Very nice work.

Are you missing the SI yet?

The BF SRC FP is absolutely great, but watch it in the humidity. The product works *perfectly* in my process and produces outstanding gloss.

I miss having a car that I *really* care about, but I do not miss the SI at all. I have been into Hondas since around 96, I am so tired of the "scene" and all of the baggage that comes along with it--I want to get as far away as possible. I have my eye on something else....:D

if i might ask and not sound stupid, what is APC?

Hey no need to feel stupid, we get all caught up in the situational jargon around here and forget that not eveyone knows the "lingo."

APC= All Purpose Cleaner

:faint: Is this going to be another GSRStilez deal... :D

Just kidding. Can't wait to see what's up your sleeve. Hopefully a dark color.
