A quick review of my order from AUTOPIA

This is a just tiny review for my tiny first order from the Autopia store.

My experience with David's store was top notch! It arrived very quickly, and was very well packaged. All I ordered was Klasse AIO (this is my first time with this product), a Concourse Buffing Towel, an Autopia car duster, and 4 Autopia handi-grip applicators.

First of all, those handi-grip applicators are a godsend!!!!! I don't own a PC, and I have large hands that make it difficult to hold regular foam applicators without constantly dropping them. Plus, my fingers didn't hurt when I was finished( I have the onset of carpal-tunnel syndrome) It made waxing so fun I'll be doing it even MORE often than before!

The CBT is also amazing! Softer than anything I've felt before...too bad I snagged it twice on the last "E" in Escape. It really made the AIO feel even more buttery!

Haven't used the duster yet, but it appears to be pretty much equal with my old CCD, but better-looking.

I was surprised at the size of the AIO bottle, I always pictured it to be much larger. Even my wife said "what a cute bottle!" I've used nothing but Zaino on my Escape since I bought it, and it's 99.9% swirl free. So I wanted a good, non abrasive chemical cleaner to act as a base for my Z2. It worked magnificently, and it was extra super easy to put on evenly with the handi-grip apps.

You better believe I'll be using this stuff on my wife's car, right next to the spot where I tried the infamous AW. Not this weekend though, as it began raining again...

All in all, excellent service, and an excellent selection of products shipped fast!

Thanks Mayor!

Thanks for the review! I intend on buying from Autopia in the near future... I have heard nothing but praise. As with AIO, I agree, it's a very good base for Z2.

Your darn right I'll be buying a PC...but I'm trying to get a house first! Man, I can't wait to have a garage.....

Thanks for the Autopia feedback. With regards to using AIO as a pre-step for Z SCP products, I have no experience with the combination. It sounds interesting. There's no reason Z wouldn't bond with an acrylic resin.

I've been using AIO as a base for Z for several months now. It works great! I've noticed no bonding or durability issues. :up

It was an earlier post from ShowroomLincoln that inspired me to try the combination (thanks for the idea!). Unfortunately, I didn't get to top the AIO with the Z2 because it began raining halfway through my AIO application. I moved the Escape under cover and finished the job, but I figured I would just wait until next weekend to apply the Z2.

SRL, how long do you wait after the AIO to apply the Z, and do you use the ZFX? Thanks!

I apply right away Shadow. Just remove the AIO and start Z'ing. I've tried it with Z1 and ZFX. I've noted no problems with either method. :up
