a query regarding detailing costs

i have recently come across a TV review whereby the detailer in question charges upto £5,000 (approx $7,500) to detail a car. i must admit that he uses some sort of zymol wax that costs around $10,000 per tub but can anyone please enlighten me and explain how he can justify such extreme prices? dont get me wrong, i am an absolute nut when it comes to detailing but £5k?!?!

Trust, service and products. The clients trust this man with 150 to 300 thousand dollar cars. The services he provides are considered cutting edge. Also, the products cost a pretty penny. So why not charge one for the detail?
