A little question about KAIO

Junebug and Shizam1,
just wanted to share that I have used KAIO and really like the product a lot.
I apply it with the PC and the LC Green Pad, and that does a nice job of removing minor imperfections. I just recently used KAIO on my girlfriend's brand new BMW...here is the link to the post with pictures on the 2nd page - http://truthindetailing.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=4719&page=2.
Using the PC makes applying much faster, and definitely improves the results you can achieve with the product.
Hope that helps too!

I'm also an AIO/PC user and love the results on paint, glass, trim etc. I primarily use a white pad and have some pads dedicated to the black pieces/parts (trim). I spin my PC at 4.5 to 5 with AIO and work it into the paint a bit.

I know it's weird but I really love the smell of KAIO....

Ugh, it's easily the worst smelling detailing product I've ever seen. Almost makes me gag. I know it's probably not too bad to most people, but for some reason I'm really sensitive to how it smells. /:)

On a side note, does the Werkstatt lineup have a similar smell?

Actually KAIO will remove oxidation, minor swirls, old wax, and other surface blemishes, so it does have some cut to it. Most AIO's are pad dependent, so it would be safe to assume that if it works differently with different pads, then a machine would help as well. It would certainly help with minor swirls. Not only that, but by using a PC, it would speed up the process.

Barry,

Great reply!

Klasse All In One is one of those one step products that really work. I'm amazed how well it cleans and removes minor oxidation and swirls as well as adds a nice protective layer.

I normally use it with an orange then white pad with spectacular results!

That reminds me of a cartoon I saw in Easyriders - years ago in another life, anyway this biker was firing up a "j" and this other biker with a parrot on his shoulder asks," hey Snake, ever notice how parrot turds look like joints?"
