ok, got my first PC detail under my belt, two more in the family and then i have had numerous requests from neighbors and friends to do some of their cars. heres what i have on my plate (as requested)

neighbors 2 buick sedans (1 silver and 1 champagne) - these are standard buick size whatever they are

other neighbors light silver acura 3.2TL and champagne lexus SUV (are you seeing a color trend on my street)

friends 2002 black z71 tahoe (this should be a fun one)

thats what ive got at the moment, and also probably a 2002 pewter suburban on 22"s and a 2002 pearl white escalade ext.

what would be a good rough estimate for these cars? i plan to wash, clay, polish as necessary w/ 1Z line (hopefully ill get some VM too), vacuum interiors, clean vinyl, plastic etc and dress as well, shampoo if necessary, do wheel wells and engine compartment, dress wheels and tires etc etc. i really dont know what i should ballpark for these, i figure each one should take me about a day. the SUV's will be toughest, i have doing the roof of those things, especially with racks. they're all neighbors and friends in town, so ill do them at my house.

Hello NorCalZ71,

It looks like all these vehicles are FULL details. I would charge $150-175 per car and $200-225 for the SUV. But I also see these are your family and friends' cars. I would discount them accordingly.

I also see you're in NorCal. PM me for more info.

thanks for the input bro, send me a PM about the CK stuff, i think im definitely interested in giving VM a go around. maybe some other stuff too.:xyxthumbs

It depends on your local market but I charge:

Cars: $200-250 depending on condition

Midsized SUVs and minivans: $250-300 depending

Large trucks and SUV's: $250-300 depending

wow bretfraz you have one heck of a market, heh. what does $300 buy them in your neck of the woods as far as the routine you go through with the car.

I think that when you're starting out (professionally) that a day is a good amount of time to set aside for a full detail

congrats, and good luck!
