A hidden bonus of AIO?

I applied SSR2 via PC and AIO via PC to my car on Sunday, and then washed it on Monday morning with my new Excel sheepskin mitt and Meg's Deep Crystal soap. When I was done washing and drying it, I couldn't believe how slick it still was! Most of the time, even if I had just applied the LSP a day before, the soap always lessened the slickness at least somewhat. This time it felt like it did after buffing it off.

Is this how AIO always is? Does it retain its slickness for a long time? I've never found any other LSP that would...

The only other variable is the sheepskin mitt. I always used to use a MF mitt to wash the car. Regardless, I was impressed by both the mitt and the AIO. :xyxthumbs

If you think AIO is slick, put some UPP on top of that! MF towels sucked right off dead flat surfaces by gravity alone! (Well almost :D )

UPP WILL NOT stop or interfere with adding SG on top of UPP either as all 3 are completely compatable.

Alright, so now you have me reconsidering my combo...

Here is my original thought:

SSR2.5 PC Orange LC pad

SSR2 PC Green LC Pad

SSR1 PC Black LC Pad

RMG

WG Sealant x3

Souveran

Now I'm thinking mayeb I should do this:

SSR2.5 PC Orange LC

SSR2 PC Orange LC

SSR1 PC Black LC Pad

AIO PC Black LC

RMG (Red Moose Machine Glaze)

UPP x3

Souveran

Any thoughts?

Whatever RMG is, AIO _WILL_ remove it!

Replace SSR1 with Menzerna PO85RD - same pad

After AIO, SG and UPP in any order you like for as many layers as you like.

Just remember that waxes will melt and disappear somewhere around 130 degrees , while the synthetics tend to melt about the mid-300's.... Mind you, Souveran gives a great look, albeit a sacrificial one - expect to wax weekly, as that is about how long it will last. Up north maybe 2-3 weeks, but down south, no way and in the desert , fogedaboudit!

NICE! guess what. I am ordering the P085RD right now.

You need deep pockets for PO85RD! But, IMHO it is worth every penny. Research it's use here before using it (as with everything else)

This past weekend I detailed a friend's 350z that had been beat on by some punk(s) with paintball guns. :hairpull

SSR 2.5 w/ cutting pad, I worked it until it was almost gone and the surface looked like I could almost go straight to a sealant/carnauba

AIO with polishing pad

UPP x1 (so far)

The car looks amazing, even better than before the paintball splatter had sat on the car (unknowingly) through the night and half-way through a 100+degree day.

The paint is darkened though extemely clear & sharp.

As far as any other comments about your projected regimen, I'd say use some S100 instead of Souveran... I've always found S100 to look remarkably close to Souveran when used on top of a sealant, it's only when Souveran is used alone that I've noticed the marked difference.

I put WG sealant on top of it, and it's very slick. UPP and WG have been extremely close in slickness from my experience. I'm adding Nattys on top of the WG, probably tomorrow.

Holland_Patrick - I've never tried Glanz...are you thinking of Paste Glaz?

Yeah both PO85RD products are amazing. They are reasonably priced in australia - $34-40 per bottle Older polishes - PG, IP, FP, FP II are $29

I think it's hard to come by in US.

I've done VM then RMG before with great results but it's probably unnecessary for both of them

YCW is killer also

Thanks for the tip about RMG, didn't know about leaving it on for 15 mins after machine or hand applying.
