A good combonation?

just did the ssr 2.5, 1, ex and man it looks good and the ssr 2.5 worked well with the green pad but for the hood i had to bust out the orange pad, and then i noticed the 2.5 dried up alot quicker while working with it and it was harder to buff off, the ssr 1 with blue pad went on and off easily and with the EX u really need to spread it thin but it was so thick even after i shook it for a while. it is drying on the car now..... take it off soon....

havent pulled it out of the garage light yet but it does look good....

question- when applying the EX with a pad by hand i was misting the pad every third time or so with water so it made it easier to spread it.... was that ok, or will i have a hard time getting it off???

thanks,
Jon

2nd question:

i was reading the back of ssr 1 bottle and it stated that i should use profesional polish next and then the EX.

i didnt have the profesional polish, so i went right to the ex, so should i order the pro polish and then apply that then go back over it with multiple coats of EX?? can the nattys paste wax top the EX?? how should i apply to pro polish(with a PC and what speed if so??)

thanks.

ps- the car is looking so much better than it did before, and spent 7 hours on the car including claying today!!!! 90 percent of the swirls and scratches are gone. what should i do about the other 10%(pay a pro with a rotary to take care of them??) and if i go back with the ssr 2.5 that will take off all the other polsihes i put on it, correct??

thanks again.

If you let it dry completely it will come off easy..if you left it on thick , then have a few mf ready and turn them frequently;)

man you type too fast:lol

no Pro Polish is not needed....

the other 10% ...if it's a daily driver , don't drive yourself crazy, normal washing and wear and tear will reintroduce that amount during normal maintenence.
If it's a garage queen, a pass or two more with SSR2.5 with the orange pad followed by the polishing pad will remove most of the rest of them...also a few coats of EX will also help to hide them..

yes 2.5 will remove everything you've applied...

if i do the two to three coats of EX.... should I use the Natty's as a topper and if so how many coats can i put on 2, 3, 4??

also, if no nattys, how many EX, can i do, 2,3,4, or 5.... or is there a limit??

thanks,
Jon

ps- i'll try to slow down the typing.......

Thanks :)

From customer feedback and experience over the last few years, I find that three applications of EX to give the best overall look. More tha nthat really doesn't seem to add much...but then I have heard that people who apply another coat once a month have been extemely happy:D
Yes you can put the Natty's right on top and it will give a brighter, glossier look.
Two coats should suffice, and again if you add a coat a month it will get slicker and glossier.:hippi
