A few questions about UPPP & UPGP

nlkccom

Do I know you?
After I wash, clay, and use UPPP to prep my car, I'm planning to put on a few layers of UPGP, and then with DWG. I know it's recommended to let each layer of UPGP cure for 12 hrs, but can I drive the car during that 12 hrs period?

Also, I have Klasse AIO. Does AIO provide the same effect as UPPP or UPGP? Would it be redundant work to use AIO together and UPPP/UPGP?

as above

no need for the AIO as that is exactly what PPP is doing. I'd wait until UPGP flashes over before driving ideally, but that is often only a few mins at most on my cars at any time of year, so hardly an issue.

I have tried DWG over a couple of layers of UPGP on a dark silver, and it definitely added a bit to the finish :2thumbs:

Have a few questions on DWG:

Do I let it dry/haze after I apply the dwg, or do I buff it off immediately?

Any cure time? Or can I apply additional layer pretty much immediately?

What I like to do with DWG is to top the entire vehicle, then go around and wipe it off. This method gives it plenty of time to "bond" with the paint and has worked well for me. As for applying an additional layer, there really is no reason to wait an extended period of time.
