A few questions about products I am thinking of trying from 3D/HD

I am a very happy customer so far with the following products I have tried from 3D/HD. My questions are more related to my "go-to" regular order products. I welcome any feedback from users, employees, Ben, Tunch, etc. I just want some solid opinions because I am due for a pretty big order to replace some of my mainstays.







How does the Orange degreaser compare to CG Citrus? Same cleaning power? More gentle?



How does Pink car soap match up against CG Maxi suds? Good for foam cannon use?



Is HD Protect a replacement for 1Z CP? (this one will be a tough sell. I love everything about 1ZCP. My regular interior combo is HD Free followed up with 1ZCP so I am halfway there)



Nitro-Seal vs BFWD? Is the 2 step approach to Nitro-Seal worth it?



HD Gel vs CarPro PERL or OptiBond? I really like PERL diluted at 1:1 but I do have to use it very sparingly due to sling. I never get sling from OptiBond.





Ill always be an UNO, POXY, FREE, FINAL TOUCH (my fav clay lube), and HD Orange and Red non waffle pad buyer. That is for certain. However, in order to get a good value out of this I need to make a good size purchase since it is always the shipping that is a deal breaker for me. I live in FL and Autogeek can get me my regular products turned around within the week if I order on Monday morning with free shipping over $95 bucks. (of course I do have to pay state tax) So with that in mind, just wanted to get some opinions.
 
subscribed. Sorry, I can't help - I haven't used the "other" PRODUCTS. I switched to all 3D awhile back. The pink soap suds very well, but the CG maybe better. Hope someone can help you.

It has been a little while since I was using CG Citrus, however I would be confident in saying the 3D Orange is equally as good if not even have a bit more cleaning power



How does Pink car soap match up against CG Maxi suds? Good for foam cannon use?I love Pink car soap, it is currently my favorite. Foams well with a lance, has good cleaning ability and smells fantastic.

Never used 1ZCP so I can not compare, are you using Free or Total??????

Probably the hardest of all your questions, Whilst I love Nitro and have very limited experience with BFWD I think it comes down more to doing a 2 step application over a 1 step. Although the 2 step application really doesn't take that much more time and in my eyes the results are worth the 2 step application, in the end I guess that is up to you and your customers?

Honestly I have not found a product in the HD 3D stable that I have been disappointed in, everything I have used I have found to be as good if not better than the equivalent products by other brands that I have used. However this is only my opinion.[/QUOTE]

Ok I threw in the order. Got some orange citrus degreaser (vs my CG OJ), 3D APC (to compare to OPC), 3D Pink Soap (vs CG Maxisuds). Really looking forward to using them. I did not pull the trigger on Nitro yet. I have a full 32oz bottle of POXY still left to use and to be honest I just love the stuff. I still have not found a combo I like more on a vehicle than POXY topped with FK1000. Its just gorgeous and I know I am getting quality protection for my customer.



When they arrive I will update this thread when I use them. I have from Jan 1 - Jan 21 off work for a vacation. I am planning on a full wetsand of my car to remove orange peel, followed by UNO with Flex on wool, then as needed to get as close as possible to 100% correction, then either Cquartz or OptiCoat. Ill check back in here. I do have a client lined up for a full correction a week from Saturday. I am hoping everything gets here before then. It is a gorgeous 2006 Cadillac CTS-V in silver. Hopefully my DSLR camera will be fixed. My buddy owns a camera shop and is cutting me a deal on the repair price so I cant really push him to get it done fast since it is non essential to my work and just for vanity.

It is best that you go to the 3D store and read up.

Lol 25% off and free shipping?!?! I had to throw in a second order. Picked up Yellow degreaser, bug remover (to compare with 1Z Anti Insekt), some applicators MF towel, and........NITRO and UNO v4. I am pretty fired up. A long time cutomer contacted me he just bought a Chevy HHR and wants my new car prep package. This normally entailed POXY + FK 1000....I think Im gonna hit it with Nitro! I will give some reviews in this thread when I do these details.
