Thanks Anthony. Whats your opinion of the compound? I have yet to use it. Please give a brief comparison with the polish if you could.....

The Compound picks up where the Polish leaves off. In other words, what the Polish can't work out the Compound should be able to handle. We have been able to level out 1500 grit sanding marks with the Polish and 1200 grit with the Compound.
On a silver or light colored car I have used the Compound alone and then went to my sealer. It leaves little to no marring BUT on dark colored cars I would recommend one more step with the Polish. The Compound and Polish delever a great finish every time and that's what I love about them. I have been using them for awhile now and they give me consistant results. Any marring left from the Compound is removed completely with the Polish, 99% of the time in one pass. Like the Polish the Compound leaves little to no dust, easy removal and again the trademark Optimum long working time.
The really odd thing is that the Compound is thinner in consistancy than the Polish. Usually it's the other way around, the compounds are thick like peanut butter...David explained to me why this is but he lost me with his big words....like "the" and "is" :chuckle:
If you get a chance to use them please let me know your thoughts.

Do you ever detail a POS? By law, you should be forced to clean up a nasty mini van/SUV from time to time!

How much time are you saving, since moving to Optimum products?
My parents are in town visiting, and the OCW that I applied x 2 last Christmas was still beading. No kidding! They live in the Snowbelt (Ohio), and their van was exposed to A LOT of weather.

LOL mgm....yeah I have to clean up our POS minivan from time to time, does that count?
Man I know I sound like a broken record, forgive me for that guys, but I am saving not only alot of time with Optimum products but money also, which makes the wife happy. I like trying new products but since using Optimum I have pretty much ceased that extra spending.
Time wise, I would say that the SL and the GT3 took me no more than 60 minutes to both polish and wax. The GT3 had no interior work, just the paint work and the wheels and tires. Total time was about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The SL a bit longer as I did the interior also plus wiped down the engine and polished the wheels.
Still beading from last Christmas!! WOW....talk about some durability :xyxthumbs Durability like that would put me out of a job :LOLOL

Time restrictions only allowed for the front hood ad thats where the majority of swirls were located. This was a used vehicle we bought last month. So its a good demo project for the Opt. Twins ! Ill definetely let you know my progress, and if i remember, I'll take b4 and afters !
