A few details...

This is perhaps the last time I will detail this SL600 SilverArrow as I am delivering it tomorrow to a dealer.

I polished it with my Cyclo, white pads and OCP, topped with OCW.

In this picture the rear wheel emblem appears to be missing.

Paint has alot of flake in it....

This is a rather unusual shot...

Next up is a Seal Grey 911 I did on Friday, well every Friday actually, it has had nothing but Optimum Wax applied to it for the last 6 months. I go over it after every wash with OCW.

This is my fav car

It is a yellow GT3 and he just had a new Euro RS nose put on it. The new nose has 3 sreened vents on it and gives it a nice racey look to it. His next mod will be graphite wheels :xyxthumbs

We applied a new Xpel to the new nose and then polished it with OCP and sealed it with, you guessed it....OCW.

Very nice, Anthony.

You do the 911 every Friday? What do you typically do to it?

Hello and thak you to both you and Series1 :)

I wash it

clean the wheels,

wheel wells,

dress tires,

wipe out all the water runoff areas

windows,

vacuum and dust,

apply Optimum car wax

Every few weeks I'll apply some protectant to the seats and clean the mats.

Thanks again,

Anthony

The Optimum products really did something for the paint :xyxthumbs

Why the Optimum with every wash ? Optimum is certainly capable of withstanding at least 6 weeks of the environment. I could see once a month but every week? It is almost degrading to Optimum!?

OCW seems to layer so I can see applying it after every wash. 2-3 applications a week apart looks amazing.

Great work, Anthony! Love that Benz!

Hey thanks all!

Patrick,

Yes the OCW has great longevity but I wanted to see if there are any problems with OCW being layered and so far no problems at all. This Porsche is the one where I noticed that after 3 weeks it washed up and dried real easy. The cars owner also noticed a difference in how the car always looked, in his words...."It's as if you wax every time you wash it!" WEll actually I am :grinno:

This then is where my "Use OCW after every wash for 3 weeks and on the fourth weekly wash you'll notice it's easier to wash, dry, looks better and feels very slick" line came from. In fact there are some weeks where I only need to use my pressure washer to rinse the paint off on this Porsche, including the wheels. Time wise it's really not much more time and effort that plain ol drying and now it has pretty much become a habit...feels like I am missing a step if I don't do this step on my clients cars.

Thanks again,

Anthony

PS- Dave is working on a 1-step cleaner wax also and I should get some test samples of that soon. I'll of course let you all know how that works out.
