very nice group of cars. love the halo lights on the bmw. going 2 get halo foglights for my dakota

great job

Sounds great, I've actually got them on my F150 and they look awesome, however the halo's burned out after about 6-8 months but the whole headlight set up looks better than the OEM lights.

Wow, great work on some amazing cars Josh!!

Looks like you have been busy lately! It is so hard to find the time to post up all of the cars I detail when things are busy. I may do something similar if I ever get the time...

Thanks for sharing!! Nice work...

Thanks, yes I've been busy this year, I'm on course to at least double my work from last year.....

These aren't even the half of them, just the black ones that I can remember lately.

Looks great Josh. Did you try peanut butter on the stained molding of the M5?

No, but I told the owner I've heard PB is good for that kind of staining.

I've also heard you have to use a certain kind of PB for it? Anyone know what kind of PB is good for stains on molding and trim?

I'm seriously thinking about getting a nice thick glass vile and plopping a scoop of PB in it for this very reason.

Had yet another black car to detail today. It was a 99 black Ferrari 355GTB. It was a last minute phone call and I rushed out the door and forgot the camera of course......I'll try to get some pics of it in the show Sat.

good details.. im seeing lots of nice reflections but what did you do about the swirls? i dont think i could ever remove them with a 1 step, not with my pc anyway.

Nice work on all of them. :)

I'd say 35-40% of the vehicles I detail are black, would you say the percentages are the same for you? Seems that black car owners tend to be more likely to pop for a detail.

I think Josh is in the same boat as a lot of us. You do what you can for what the client is willing to pay for. I've got customer's cars I'd love to really go nuts on but they just don't care enough to pay for the extra polishing. I believe Josh said the same thing about the G37 he posted.

None of them were swirl removal process except the M5, not all the cars I detail want swirl removal..... let me correct that, not all the car I detail want to pay for swirl removal.:o

You are correct, a 1 step with the PC will not remove swirls. All these clients are just regular details (as I mentioned:xyxthumbs) and not swirl removal jobs.

Lately it's been like 75% are black for me.....

The 355 I just did was also black, however I was happy about that cause all the F cars I do seem to be red, plus black looks way better then red on the 355 body.:bigups

Dead on Scott. I have many clients that do pay for the full polishing, but also have a few clients that just don't want to drop the $600+ for the swirls.

That's why I have a hand full of simple detailing packages that cater to those clients.:2thumbs:

Very nice work Josh. The S5s are stunning.

I'd love to roll in a black ESV too, but imagine keeping it up to our standards? I rarely have time to keep our vehicles clean and my truck is white.

Glad to hear you are keeping busy.

I had another black car to detail today also.... Audi S5, another one.

I've been very busy lately, too much actually, I haven't had time for anything. I actually had to go home sick in the middle of that M5 detail I was so out of it. The owner was very gracous with me and understanding.

The heat is starting to heat up as well so that's making it tougher.

Thanks, Josh

Josh, You should schedule a few days off for yourself, ASAP. I was in the same boat last month right before we went on vacation and it was not even hot yet. Pace yourself as its going to be a long summer.

I'm trying too. I've started to only detail Mon-Fri and keep my weekends free so I can rest. Also I try to only do 1-2 cars per day as each car is a 3-4 hour process plus driving time....

I'm heading out to Houston next week and only have a couple scheduled after that so I may have a day or two off in the near future.

We're in the middle of house shopping so that doesn't make it any easier.:grinno:

Thanks, Josh
