A dirty 5 series with "black" wheels

Is there an effective product that will repel the dust or do they just need to be cleaned often? What do ya'all use? Everything I have tried is short lived.

Do you seal them or wax them? If they are cleared, like many new factory wheels, they can be treated like paint. Then the cleaning time is shortened, albiet still necessary.

Ya, I have sealed and waxed. And cleaning is eaier, like you said. Just curious if anyone has found the golden ticket on repelling dust. I haven't.

Great job on the car. As a BMW owner, I just don't get it why you would have a car like that and let get in that condition. Beautiful job, and KUDOS to Flash fpr the Royal Brown:Dancing Dot:

thanks

Nice, I have a gallon of the brown royal I havent tried yet. Did you use it straight or did you cut it?

I used it straight because how heavy the dust was

Oh, you really drove it hard but finally turn it to tip top condition. Fantastic work!

thanks

Great Save on those wheels!

thank you

Great work broker! You gotta love those high quality brake pads BMW uses! :D

thanks Rasky

Wow, great turnaround on the BMW Chad!

thanks Angelo, you should have seen it;)

So far it has done a nice job with the wheels on my wife's Envoy but the Envoy does not put off that much brake dust

I guess I'll mirror what everyone else has said... GREAT job on those wheels!
That's some serious brake dust accumulation to deal with.

Note to self: "Must get the Brown Royal." That stuff's the bomb!

Great work!

Did you have to agitate the wheel cleaner or just use a pressure washer to blast them clean?

I find that on exremely dirty cleared wheels, Megs wheel brightner will get the job done as well. Is it correct that Brown Royal can be used on any wheels finish?

Ill echo everybody else! Great work, the wheels look excellent now!

thank you Todd, I really appericate that.

the Brown Royal did about 90% of the work on its own and I used a brush to get the rest of it off. I had some WB as a back up. Brown Royal claims that it is safe on all wheels. If it does not harm German wheels I would say I agree with that.

thanks again

great work. recently ordered some brown royal. can't wait to try it out! owners of that bimmer must've left a hefty tip. i know i would've if i had a car restored from that condition lol
