A day with: justin30513

That is an interesting post, Justin. I only work on my own car, so it impresses me how y'all make good money doing this. Nice photos, too.

I'm amazed that you can do this in so little time. I only detail two cars, once every week or two, so I don't have an efficient system worked out yet. Great work!

As always your work is impressive but your time management even more so. Where I live there are many places that do a wash/interior/wax (all by hand) for $45......and that's on a Suburban. I'm glad you have the clientèle that pay well for such services.

yeah that is what I have come to realise about justin....I thought he was BSing his money income per detail, but after seeing all his posts reveal the same, I can start to believe it....plus location plays a huge role....

over here in cali, 60 for a car seems high to most people, and that isnt just a normal wax, I am using megs 66 cleaner wax...wax with cleaning power behind it....and while I can explain to people all day long about the solid differences, it doesnt matter to them....so I am thinking about switching over to just a normal wax to save myself some time....heck, OCW would look good on most of their cars, and that takes 10 minutes to apply and wipe off, with great results!!!

more power to you justin, if I ever need a change of pace, I might have to look into your neck of the woods....but that will never happen because so cal has too much to offer...beach and mountains in the same day!!!!

I just have a system. I wash, vac, and do the windows and interior in less than an hour. Waxing is only 20 minutes to put on and take off since Max Wax does not need to haze.

That's real fast as compare to time I am taking :p .

Great job on all the cars and good money too :) , over here in my place, some people are charging less than US$20 for a wash and wax :( .

Does this type of job include clay, or is it really just a wash wax and vacuum. Just curious. Thanks. Great job by the way.

sounds like a fun day!

I love just driving up there just to look around... great views...

your time management seems about right to me... If I do a good job on my car, but as quick as possible, I can wash the car, wheels and all in 30-45 minutes.. leaving about 20 minutes for the inside, and 20-25 for the wax and dress... it only takes me 10-15 minutes to wax my car when the wax doesn't have to haze (ie. maxwax).

now the thing that still surprises me is you're full detail times. I wish I could come spend a day with you to help, and learn how to do a full detail efficiently.
