A Custom Wagon...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
I painted my buddies truck 2 years ago in this charcoal/silver star design. Well, him and his wife are pregnant with their first kid and I thought it was only appropriate that he get a bad-ass wagon for their new baby boy. Can't wait to see the look on his face when he opens this gift!!!!

Whatcha think?

That's a really thoughtful gift. I'm sure they'll be shocked and appreciate it more than you'll know.

Reminds me of a project I took on something like 10 years ago:

I bought the base wagon for $10 at a swap meet just because we got tired of carrying our parts. It squeaked and was on its last legs. My cousin welded up a new rear axle and I found a set of tires form an old Toro lawn mower. The handle was extended by using a clothes rod. A little paint and pin striping tape helped a bit as well. The dual exhaust was a fun touch. It has visited many car shows over its life and my father would insist on taking it to Carlisle each Fall and Spring. It gets a lot of attention.

It's been repainted and changed a little bit since then. It has new front wheels and a bedliner mode from an old Jeep soft top. I have it here in TX with me and once I get my garage into a usable condition, I plan on redoing one more time.
