A cool idea for Organizing detailing supplies

Quote: A cool idea for organizing detailing supplies

~One mans opinion / observation~

I’ve seen something similar at a car show (a Grit Guard Bucket with coasters and a Zymol wash caddy)

The Smith & Hawken tote is a good idea though.

~Hope this helps~

Forget it! What a rip off! I expect some rich sissy to skip around his driveway in his skimpy, nut hugger tennis shorts toting it around.

Go to Home Depot in the tool box department and buy one of those large, heavy gauge, clamp down tool boxes on wheels that rolls like luggage. There is a mini tool chest inside that sits on top to hold detail brushes and nic nacks.

I use on and take it on-site and use it for stirage at home. Less than half the price and super rugged. Just carry a bucket seperately.

You can buy a smaller one for home use for even less money.

spilchy , come on tell us how you really feel!

I guess I am a rich sissy who skip's around my driveway in skimpy nut hugger tennis shorts , cause I just had my local machine shop start to make me one for my detailing supplies but hey it's what floats my boat. :D

Spilchy, that is what I have. Got a nice craftsman one for I believe $40 on sale, its HUGE! holds dacp gallon, two buffers, pads, about 10 bottles, and then there are all the little compartments

Yes, that's what I'm talking about.

I was just poking fun (not at you) ;)

When I clicked the link, it reminded me of a Martha Stewart advertisement for guys. I can see why you may like the concept and machine one for yourself, but the price for a bucket with a tool belt wrapped around it??!!

no harm , just poking fun back at you !:D

I do agree the price is too much , that's why I'm making my own and I am going to make some changes to it too.

Spilchy, could you surf the HomeDepot site and post a picture for folks like me, who can't visualize what you're talking about?

It's a lot like these, but imagine it larger with wheels and a handle to roll it along. I can't find the exact ones. But check your Home Depot or Lowes.

Home Depot has a huge selection of them from small ones, to those the size of a coffin!
