Today's work, up in Napa Valley where my blood pressure goes down everytime I am up there for work or pleasure!!

This car I did new a year and half ago and the owner keeps it up real nice, but there was wash induced marring and of course my favorite(hard water spots on the clear bra CRAP!!)

Spent a little over 8 hours total, took my time as it was humid and hot (for california) compounded with 105 w/GI fast cut foam, then on to Menz PO85RD finishing with CG wet mirror glaze. The biggest change was using Blackfire as my LSP and so far this stuff rocks(which is old news to those who already use this stuff)

Marring but not real bad

Depends Barry, some mobile jobs are a grind and I have to take my time when putting the gear in the truck so as not to forget anything also cannot take my big fan(will not fit in the truck) and I needed it badly yesterday(have a little fan that sits on my desk which is okay.......).

Honestly...... the best thing about the shop is a bathroom I can use whenever I want.

car looks really good!! do you hook up that filtering system to the customers water or is that hooked up in your truck?

Great Job Bob, i was working in Livermore last Saturday, the humidity and heat was so bad that I couldn't use M105 at all, it would cake and dry up by the 2nd pass, and would be a pain to take off. You have the V2 correct?

I have both, and the 32oz bottle I just bought is the original.

Looks great! Do you feel that a wet finish is better achieved with CG mirror Glaze over CG Acrylic Glaze? Also, was the Blackfire LSP the sealant or paste?

Funny you should ask, as I have had this conversation with others wet mirror and acrylic glaze perform almost identical to me on most finishes. If I had to pin it down wet mirror does not give quite the jetness of color on darker finishes as the acrylic glaze imho.

I used the Wet diamond sealant as the LSP on the Porsche and I LOVE the user friendlyness of this product.

Top notch work once again, Bob!!

There's nothing better than a perfectly detailed red sports car...

Keep up the great work!!

Bob, in your experiences has P0106 finished out as glossy and perfect as the P085 ? I feel that I can cut more with 106 and finish down flawless, but have yet to follow it up with 85? Your thoughts or experiences? It would seem foolish to waste the time polishing the entire again with 85 after 106...
