99 vw passat meets barrys pc7424!!!!!

bufferbarry- Sheesh dude, you just keep outdoing yourself! :bow

Good to know the Ardex 1000 is both more aggressive than M105 and also PC-friendly. What speeds did you use with it?

Heh heh, I guess this *really* oughta put to rest those nay-sayers who claim you can't do serious work via PC.

If you don't have an ETG, you really oughta get one, if only so we can see how much clear gets removed by such processes (gee, easy for me to spend your money huh ;) ).

thanks accumulator i really like the ardex 1000, its slowly becoming a go to compound in my arsenal. i used it at speed 6 with lots of pressure! i have a good paint meter. im just to lazy to use it. i was always taught if you can't see that your gonna go threw then you shouldn't be sanding! a little old school i guess. im curious to, but i think people these days are affraid to go agressive like me. sometimes you just have to! this was a time lol. thanks man!

Well....[shoot] you must just have the magic-eye or something :D Last time I got *really* aggressive I overthinned the clear on my M3 in a couple places..just enough that you can tell in certain light if you look just right (no, no, not even close to cut-through ;) ).

But then you obviously have all sorts of abilities I don't possess...and no I'm not some gushy suck-up. [Heck] I'm not all that easy to impress ;) but you're simply *that good* at this stuff. Not that you need me to say so..

Drysanding with a PC.... damn.

Mr. Theal! You outdid yourself!! Good heavens, can you imagine the owner of a car coming in to oversee the project during that drysanding step!!! You'd have to clean up some poo off of your shop floor....:)

I almost had to clean my own poo just reading this. I scrolled ahead to see if you were prepping for new paint. You've got nerves of steel. :nervous2:

Nice work!
