Well its been a while! Finally remembered my screen name and I thought I would post up a detail I did today.
Subject was a Acura Integra, red with carbon fiber hood. Owner had the vehicle painted 2 years ago. Was in rough shape, lots of hologramming and some severe scratching on the hood. Goal was for 100% correction, but I only managed what I like to call 99% correction. The scratching in the hood was simply too deep for complete removal.
Process:
-Decontamination wash with APC
-Tar removal with Super Sol
-Clayed rocker panels
-1500>2000>3000 grit wetsanding on hood
-XP Magic Cut on Yellow Cutting pad
-XP Magic Cut on white finishing pad
-3M Superfina on white finishing pad
-Klasse AIO
-Klasse SG
-Collonite 476
-Aquapel on the windows
-XP Cool Blue dressing on all seals and tires
-Tuxedo on wheel wells.
No befores, was on a tight time line, been working many 15-16 hour days recently.
